I met my good friend Jason Antoon through this play, long before his success in Susan Stroman's Contact... When Spook Testani and I were putting together the Playwrights Horizons reading, a casting director at CBS named Curtis Colden called Jason in to read for us. He promptly blew us away, and when I phoned to tell him, we wound up having a 2 hour conversation about Salinger, Philip Jose Farmer, and being Lebanese. Through Jason I met another close friend: the radiant Tina Benko, who wound up being one of my muses.  After all these years Jason still has a soft spot for this play...
